SG Imagine Workshop is an edutech and content startup that started in Andong in 2022. Under the slogan turning imagination into reality, it develops interactive educational content such as board games, AI learning platforms, and AR/VR experience tours using data on the region's independence movement and traditional culture. CEO Park Min-jae, a member of an Andong National University LINC 3.0 startup club, won the top prize at the Ministry of Education's educational public-data utilization contest (ZIDO platform) in its first year, and took the grand prize at the 2024 Gyeongbuk Content Korea Lab IR pitching, gaining recognition for both technology and business viability.
Its headquarters is at Room 307, 89-2 Nongol-gil (Songcheon-dong), Andong, where two professional staff perform the entire planning, development, and design process in-house. Its main products, the KOREA URA board game and an AI-based independence-activist generation service, have been expanded into Korean, English, and Chinese multilingual content and supplied as educational programs for schools, museums, and MICE events at home and abroad.
The workshop also directly operates the Pinocchio K-URA Tour linked with local experiential tourism, presenting a local edu-tour model in which learners visit the actual historical sites featured in the game. In the future, it aims to expand its scope to traditional-industry data such as Andong Soju and hanji, launch XR and robotics-based immersive learning solutions, and leap forward as a global edutech hub based in Andong.
